We're happy to say that maintenance is complete and this incident is now closed.

A lot of preparation and hard work has gone into minimizing the impact of this maintenance. The total downtime was limited to less than 15 minutes, as planned. As a result of this maintenance, we will all enjoy the benefit of many future maintenance operations without planned downtime.

Verifying
Our new database cluster has been launched and all of our initial tests are passing!

Access to the site and API has been restored. Some services are still disabled (such as renewals, background jobs, emails, etc), but Chargify is online.

The maintenance window is not closed yet. We will continue to monitor and run some additional tests before we give the "all clear".

Here we go! The maintenance window has begun.

You should now expect to see:

- A maintenance page in your browser when visiting the Charigfy app, any of our hosted/public pages, or the billing portal.
- HTTP Status Code 503 responses from the API, along with an error JSON or XML payload.

We anticipate the maintenance will result in approximately 15 minutes of actual downtime, but have reserved the entire hour to ensure there’s time to get it right. More details are available in our announcement: https://help.chargify.com/announcements/downtime-notification.html

We will update this status page approximately every 10-15 minutes.
